A very unusual high quality table top viewer with an elaborately styled cabinet made mahogany case containing a wooden slide magazine in the form of a cabinet drawer for twenty five glass stereo slides and with thirteen stereoscopic glass slides (16.5 x 8.3cm), the magazine inserted through a door at the front and the slides changed and bought into view by operating a sliding knob (one missing) on either side of the cabinet base and the magazine returned to the first position by a cord pull at the front, the twin eyepieces having separation and focusing adjustments.

  • The top half removes to reveal the changing mechanism which is very similar in operation to that used by Gaumont on their Stereodrome viewer but is entirely wood framed.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
