• The Sea-Dweller and the Submariner models were all used by the French diving company Comex (Compagnie Maritime d'Expertise) and were issued to their specialist divers with each watch marked Comex on the dial and numbered on the rear.
  
  The current vendor started diving in the 1960’s and continued until 1983. He worked all around the world and became the Project Manager for Comex and was in charge of the diving support vessel the SSSV Uncle John. This watch comes with his 'Personal Divers Log Books' dating from 1977 to 1980, and listing the location, vessel and work undertaken on each dive, and the entries been officially stamped with that of the Comex Safety Department, also with a Certificate from Comex Houlder Diving and Shell for work carried out during the period 1977-1983, and rare photographs showing the vendor wearing the watch during a dive in the 'Fateh Field' for the Dubai Petroleum Company.
  
  Also included is a copy of a telex from the President of Comex, Henri G.Delauze to the vendor on his retirement showing how much he appreciated all the good work he had put in for Comex over the past 9 years, and how he had advanced from a young diver, through to the Founder of the underwater inspection team and leader of the Comex North Sea projects.
