A fine cased Colt No. 5 Holster Model 'Texas Paterson' percussion revolver

Serial no. 84, .36 caliber. 7 1/2 inch barrel without loading lever, top flat marked Patent Arms M'g Co. Paterson N.J. Colt's Pt. Cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene. Blued finish. Varnished walnut grips. Complete with original burgundy velour-lined mahogany case. Beveled lid with vacant German silver escutcheon. Accessories include extra cylinder numbered to gun, capper, mold, combination tool, cleaning rod and charger flask.
Condition: Gun excellent and retaining 96-97% blue showing light scratches and edge wear. Sharp markings and cylinder scene. Hammer retaining perhaps 20-25% casehardening with much color remaining. Grips with few light marks and with 30-40% varnish remaining. Case lid showing some light scratches. Bottom of case with 6 inch hairline crack. Lining showing some wear and staining and small tear from leading edge of cylinder. Lock mechanism and catch replaced. Extra cylinder with excellent scene and 50-60% blue. Excellent capper with very crisp scene. Mold with excellent wood, metal with traces of faded finish. Combination tool with smooth grey metal. Charger flask showing much gilt finish and traces of varnish.
