in the Louis XIV style and applied with gilt-metal mounts, the shaped crestings applied with shell and scroll mounts above friezes applied with female masks, with leafy scroll and paterae to the angles, above a pair of shaped glazed doors enclosing five shelves flanked by gilt flutes, the lower part with moulded serpentine tops above two short and two long drawers with gilt drawer dividers flanked by gilt flutes above shaped aprons and shaped bracket feet, applied with pierced leaf scrolled mounts, stamped to the top right drawer GILLOWS and numbered 1376 and the other GILLOW & Co and numbered 1765, one cabinet with alterations to the mounts on the cornice, the cabinets now fitted for electric lights, each, 128cm wide, 55cm deep, 223cm high (50in wide, 21.5in deep, 87.5in high).
