The stylised face incised with circular eyes and small horizontal gashed mouth, standing naked except for the lion pelt, drawn over his head, the paws knotted at the neck, the skin draped and wrapped over the left arm, the clutched hand pierced, the right arm raised, probably for wielding a club, the slender well muscled figure stands with weight resting on the right hip, the left foot forward, 4½in (11.5cm) mounted, right forearm missing
