An Egyptian limestone funerary stela
Second Intermediate Period, 13th Dynasty, circa 1786-1663 B.C.
Carved at the top with two facing jackals of Anubis seated on raised platforms above two rows of text, a figural scene below with the deceased on the left behind a table of offerings, facing a standing figure of a man called 'Userhat' offering a duck, a woman called 'Merthor-Sherit' standing behind, with her right arm raised, the offering text continuing below to, 'Horus of Edfu on behalf of the deceased also called Userhat, who was a brewer of the shuyt-drink', 14¼in (36.2cm) high, some damage, mounted

Buyers' Premium and Charges

28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
