1873-80: 2½d., selection of 18 stamps incl. blued paper, wmk. orb Plates 3 to 17, except 7, a few small faults

TELEGRAPHS: 1877 3/-slate blue, imperf. colour trial, block of 20 from left of sheet, each handstamped “SPECIMEN” type 8 on gummed wmk. paper, a few tiny stains but fresh and fine.

Telegraph Stamps: 1877 £5 orange AA optd. "SPECIMEN", some creases, fresh colour.

Telegraphs: 1881 3/- slate-blue wmk. Crown NE, fine used. Brandon certificate (2003)

Used Abroad: British P.O's in China: 1927 An envelope to Holland used during the 1927 postal strike in Shanghai, franked G.B. 1d. and 1½d. tied by "Field Post Office 1" c.d.s. which was used during the strike, scarce item.
