The fluted and gadrooned body surmounted by an acanthus finial, flanked to each side by a handle with perched butterfly, signed to the side F. Barbedienne, with central enamel band decorated with flowers, on four scrolling acanthus-cast paw feet, on a square stepped base with canted angles, on toupie feet73cm high (28.5" high).
