A pair of portraits of two Officers of the 3rd Foot (the Buffs); one Officer of the Flank Company the other from the Light Company, both wearing scarlet coats with gold lace and very pale buff facings, regimental belt plates, the latter with silver strung bugle horn collar badges mounted on the gold lace of his collar and having a whistle hung from a bugle horn badge on his shoulder belt.
