• Offered with the Cerfificaat of Josef Vedral, written in English, signed and dated, The Hague, August 9, 1965 stating the above is the work of Peter Guarnerius of Mantua circa 1690-95.
  
  The Cerfificaat provides additional details of some previous distinguished owners confirming it had been in the possession of Jan Kubelik of Prague until 1932, passing eventually into the hands of Joseph Szigeti in 1950, "used it for many years" then in 1962 it became the property of Mrs.B. Latour-Pressburg.
  
  
  
  The Tree-Ring Analysis Report of John C.Topham completed on 30 September 2006 relating to the above states the following;
  
  "The two sides of the table cross-match each other very significantly at 1720. This may indicate that the pieces came from the same tree.
  
  In addition both sides cross-match sequences taken from a great many instruments by classical Italian violin makers.
  
  For example, they both significantly cross-match sequences taken from two violins, one by Nicolo Gagliano of Naples dated 1750 and another by Guarneri del Gesu of Cremona dated 1735, see accompanying graph.
