Painted on flat glass in colour against a black ground, gilded wood frame, the reverse with trade label no.10.

  • The present lot is an interesting addition to the known full-length works by Rosenberg centred on a figure of George III. The rivalry between Pitt and Fox dominated Parliament for more than twenty years of George's reign.

and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
