A second half of the 19th century engraved gilt brass strut clock in the manner of Thomas Cole
Swing handle over a multi piece frame set with pilasters to the side, with open heart shaped strut to the rear, silvered dial with Roman chapters within elaborately engraved scrolling foliage, with blued steel fleur de lys hands, the movement wound through a shutter in the rear of the case, of the three-quarter circular plate variety with enlarged barrel to give duration and lever escapement with cut and compensated bimetallic balance 15cm (6in) high.
