A late 17th century brass lantern clock

Surmounted by a strapped bell and five finials with turned corner posts and ball feet, the 6 and 7/16 of an inch wide chapter ring with bold Roman numerals and 'wheat ear' half hour markers and inner quarter hour track, signed in the centre with single steel hand, the weight driven movement now with anchor escapement (originally set with centrally mounted short verge bob pendulum) striking on the bell 39cm (15.5in) high.
