    The above offered lot is thought to be one of only two variations known of this extremely rare combination of mosaic glass and leaded glass. The other example, a table lamp with three- dimensional opalescent tiles, was sold first at Sotheby's, New York, December 2, 2000, lot 683 and later offered at Christie's, New York, June 9th, 2005, lot 32. This example differs slightly in the tile arrangement and features a deeper lower border.
