With blued barrel (some surface rust patination) rifled with five grooves, breech with sighting flat and signed in full beyond, windage adjustable fore-sight (loose) and calibrated folding adjustable back-sight, case-hardened breech with threaded plug, border engraved tang with Vernier folding adjustable long-range peep-sight calibrated along a white-metal panel on one side, border engraved detented flat lock signed in gothic script and with Rigby mirror monogram on the tail, figured half-stock (some bruising) with chequered pistol-grip and fore-end, each with dark horn cap, the butt with oval silver plaque on one side engraved with dated presentation inscription, border engraved steel mounts (surface rust patination) comprising matted butt-plate (toe slightly damaged) and serial numbered trigger-guard, and no provision for a ramrod
