Philadelphia: B. Franklin & D. Hall, [1753]. AF 4-2; (36) pp. Issue with printer's advertisement on verso of E4, illustrated with Anatomical Man plate and monthly panels. 12mo (17 cm). Modern quarter polished red calf over marbled boards. Title page spotted, lower fore edge corner of last leaf chipped with loss to a few letters, fore-edges frayed, age toning throughout.

First edition. Issue with printer's advertisement on verso of E4. Miller locates 21 copies, including this one. Miller 570; Evans 7003; Drake 9756.
Provenance: with ownership signatures of Edward Brinton on title page margin. Edward Brinton was the son of William Brinton and an important early settler of West Chester, Pennsylvania.
