A very stylish cup and cover

the hammered vase-shaped body with applied foliate frieze, descending to a floral-chased knop above a spirally fluted stepped circular foot, the openwork cover with leaf motifs rising to a "spider's web" tower beneath a glass bauble held in place by four narrow straps and capped by a moonstone finial, 42cm. high, gross weight 34oz.
