Sold for £ 600 (US$ 733) inc. premium

Footnotes

  • This was found in a pocket of the jacket offered in the previous lot. As part of their spring '67 European tour, the Stones made an historic visit to Warsaw, the only rock band to do so during the Cold War. Shadowed by security men and witnessing rioting in the streets due to unfair concert ticket allocation, the Stones played two shows at the Sala Kongresowej on 13th April. They left Warsaw the next day having been presented with a bill from the Orbis Europejski for an amount which exactly matched their income from the concerts!
