Roman Period and later
Including a Roman bronze mirror of flat circular form, with a slightly raised and rounded rim and a short pointed tang at the handle, circa 1st-3rd Centuries A.D., 77/8in. (20cm.); three small Roman circular domed crotal discs or bosses, with incised bands, pierced centrally, circa 2nd-4th Centuries A.D., 2in. (5cm.) maximum diam.; two cloak pins one a with ridged upper shank, the other a scrolled terminal, 8¾in. (22.3cm.) maximum length; two smaller pins with pierced 'eyes' on the shaft, one with a conical, the other a flat head, 5in. (12.7cm.) maximum length; a bronze leaf-shaped blade, pierced twice where it would have been attached to the haft, 8¾in. (22.3cm.); a bronze looped ?handle formed from two conjoint strips, with curled teminals, 53/8in. (13.7cm.); two rings; four penannular bangles; some bronze buckle fragments and other items; a group of Egyptian and Roman beads, including a re-strung necklace of thirty-three turquoise glazed composition melon beads, circa 1st Century B.C./A.D., worn; two re-strung necklaces of Roman glass beads including some pressed tokens, circa 1st-3rd Centuries A.D.; a re-strung necklace of carnelian and heamatite beads of various forms, mainly circa 1st-4th Centuries A.D., 17¼in. Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
