1984 BMW 635CSi Alpina B9 Coupe
Registration no. B935 BOL
Chassis no. WBAEC820708186322
Engine no. 41563520
Founded by Burkard Bovensiepen, the German firm of Alpina began producing tuned versions of BMW models in the 1960s, before the Bavarian company's own Motorsport Department launched its now famous 'M' range. A close collaborator with BMW from its earliest days, Alpina enjoys motor manufacturer status in Germany and can take much of the credit for establishing BMW's high performance image thanks to a succession of sensational road cars and countless race-track victories. The 100th of its type produced, this rare, right-hand drive Alpina B9 variant of the BMW 635CSi was sold new into the Patrick Collection by BMW main agents Sytner’s, of Nottingham. Generously specified, the car features Alpina’s specially tuned engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, long-range fuel tank and Blaupunkt New York stereo radio/cassette. A stainless-steel exhaust system was installed in 1989. Finished in light green metallic with black leather interior, the car displays a total of circa 10,600 miles on the odometer and is presented in very good condition throughout. This desirable, exclusive and highly collectible BMW supercar retains its distinctive and most appropriate ‘B935 BOL’ registration mark and is offered with assorted expired MoT certificates, Swansea V5 registration document and MoT to July 2005.
