A late 18th Century black lacquer and gilt-japanned Tavern Clock,
the later painted white and polychrome dial with Roman chapter ring above floral spandrels and a river scene, single train movement, the trunk with central arched door decorated with a pagoda scene, below is a plain moulded pendant section (evidence of original black lacquer and gilt painted dial beneath current painted dial) 138cm high 66cm wide 20cm deep
