the arched hood with swan neck pediment and foliate fretwork to the arch over freestanding gilt metal mounted columns to a shaped long trunk door flanked by recessed gilt metal mounted reeded columns with line inlay to the trunk and hood doors, raised on a reduced panelled plinth base, the 12-inch arched brass dial with moon phase in the arch and signed above by the original owners Richard & Martha Simmons 1754 for the occasion of their marriage, the movement with four knopped pillars, anchor escapement and strike on a bell 210cms.

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
