Stamped on the false plate Walker & Finnemore
the arched hood with swan neck pediement surmounted by three finials over freestanding fluted columns, the trunk flanked by 1/4 columns with a shaped trunk door with inlay to the centre depicting Britannia, to a panelled plinth base, the 13-inch painted dial with phases of the moon and hemispheres over painted floral spandrels to an Arabic dial enclosing subsidiary seconds and date aperture with pierced gilt hands (one lacking), the four pillar movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell 235cm.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
