circa 1752-54
finely painted by Jefferyes Hamett O'Neale with fable subjects, the teabowl with the 'Horse and the Ass' fable showing a white horse by a tree conversing with a heavily-laden ass, the saucer with the 'Lion and the Mice' fable showing a recumbent lion with a mouse trapped under his paw, two more mice running off in fright, the border with two floral sprigs and an insect, further sprigs inside the bowl, the rims picked out in puce, 12.2cm diam. of saucer, (minor wear to rims only), (2)

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
