1961 Wolseley 1500 MkII Saloon
Registration no. 6155 WD W-WA1/67545
Engine no. 15WC-U-L/35347
Introduced in 1957, the Wolseley 1500 (and its Riley 1.5 sister car) married the Morris Minor floorpan to a rather more conservatively styled superstructure featuring the marque's traditional front grille. Rarest of the Wolseley 1500s, this MkII is to 'fleet' (basic) specification and finished in Yukon Grey with red leather interior. The car was acquired from its second (Solihull resident) owner in 1978 and benefits from some subsequent restoration work. Described as sound and in running condition, it has not been used for some time and will require re-commissioning. Offered with buff logbook (1961) and Swansea V5.
