26-jewel Cal.1555 movement, monometallic balance shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, adjusted to five positions and temperature, fine silvered dial with day and date aperture, diamond set hour markers, polished tonneau case with 46 brilliant cut diamonds in the bezel, screw down Oyster crown and screw back, fitted platinum President bracelet, with locking clasp, together with original chronometer certificate dated 28th March 1963, case, dial and movement signed 39mm.

  • The Ref. 1804 was produced from the 1960’s to the 1970’s in 18ct white or yellow gold and in platinum. The Day-Date was first launched in 1956, later in its production the words 'Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' were printed on the dials signifying that the watches were submitted to the Official Swiss Chronometer Control and endured 360 hours of different tests.

    The platinum Ref:1804 is the rarest of all the 'Day-Date' watches produced.

27.5% on the first £20,000 of the hammer price;
26% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £20,000 up to and including £700,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £700,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
