Floorstanding Stereo Graphoscope,
an unusual Victorian, floorstanding cabinet viewer elegantly shaped, finished in burr walnut with brass fittings, ebonised stereo eyepieces focused by rack and pinion and a 15.5cm (6 inch) Graphoscope lens above, with a ground glass screen at the rear which racks out from the body on double rack and pinions for access to the card holders and for focussing the Graphoscope. An internal swivelled mirror can be used to direct light from the screen onto the stereo views or photograph. Standing 132cm (52 inch) high with wire holders inside for over one hundred views on a continuous belt wound by a wooden hand wheel at either side.
