this magnificent model is fitted with a fully brazed and riveted superheated copper boiler with Belpaire firebox and all normal fittings, including quadruple safety valves, swivelling regulator, blower, whistle, brake, injector and blowdown valves, incorporating full external detailing and smoke deflectors, cab fittings include geared reverse gear with indicator and locking lever, sliding firedoors, draincock and ejector levers, pressure and twin water gauges, wooden floorboards and scale checker plate, a wealth of classic fittings include the four cylinders, the outside pair are fitted with Walschaert's valve gear and their spindles drive the conjugated inside valves, further details include twin ratchet lubricators, brass lubrication boxes, draincocks, sanding gear, working steam brakes, cast leaf springs and beautifully worked and finished wheels, external scale detailing includes wash out plugs and doors, lamp brackets, train nameboard brackets and vacuum connectors, without smoke deflectors No. 6234., tender details include handbrake, water pick-up controls and scoop, water valves, working steam-driven mechanical shoveller with cylinder guides, exhaust condenser with condensate return to tender waterspace. Lifting eyes, hand feed pump, lamp brackets and vacuum connectors are fitted, finished in LMS maroon with yellow and black lining, mounted on steel trolleys for both locomotive and tender.

27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
