With orange cover and red sticker with wording 'POETRY BY STUART F. V. SUTCLIFFE' in Stuart's hand, many pages of poetry written in pencil and ink, many of which are dated and signed, titles include 'Rain' in which he writes 'This misty rain, it pours unceasingly, from the skies, for hours. The tatoo it beats on every bin, or anything that's made of tin, accompanied, by the swish of rushing floods, all through this', 'The Consequence' in which he writes 'This misty scourge comes and covers all earths, manifest creation, it blots out and girths with a belt of cold and dirty smog our eyes are blind our vision dimmed', 'Lament of the Drunkard' in which he writes, 'It would be the easiest thing in the world to feel eagles wings, springing out at my shoulders and with these wings I'd reel and whirl on a tour, all round the world, I'd sit at Jupiters table, served by sweet Hebe.', 'Lament of Spring' in which he writes, 'Man reawakes to greet this new born thing, the animals, the flowers all this thing, called Spring. All creatures, every one, all things sing.', 'Lovers Lament' in which he writes, 'One day, we met, so brief, my heart, was filled with love, and, disbelief. But I'm not a Romeo, though, I fell, deeper, deeper, until I could cry', and many others, with information about Greek Gods in the back,

Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
