1994 Maserati Ghibli 2.24v Coupe
Registration no. L554 DFD
Chassis no. ZAM336B00PR360828
First applied to its fabulous, Ghia-styled supercar of the 1960s, Maserati revived the 'Ghibli' name for the Biturbo in the 1990s. The Modena company's mainstream model throughout the 1980s and the first series-production road car to employ a twin turbo-charged engine, the Biturbo featured all-independent suspension and disc brakes all round and was produced initially with a 2-litre, four-cam, three-valves-per-cylinder V6 producing 180bhp. Introduced in 1992, the Ghibli 2.24v came with a 24-valve version of the 1,996cc V6 producing 245bhp, sufficient for a top speed of around 143mph. A six-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential were standard equipment on this luxuriously equipped supercar.

One of just 1,133 examples produced between 1992 and 1997, this lefthand-drive Ghibli 2.24v was imported into the UK from Italy in 2001, being kept garaged and covering few miles while in the present ownership. Last serviced by Meridien of Lyndhurst in February 2002, the car displays a total of 58,000 kilometres on the odometer and is described by the private vendor as in generally very good c£ondition. It is offered with service invoice and Swansea V5.
