Turkish Currency: 1906 Beyrout Provisional 1pi. on 2d. grey-green and carmine neatly cancelled on small piece, lightly toned otherwise very fine. Signed Bloch.

1913-16 2mk. Germania booklet (Mi. MH5), very fine and fresh.

-- perf. 14 to 16 x 11 to 12½ 6d. blue-green (SG 3) mint, R.P.S. Certificate states “creased and soiled”, of good appearance, very scarce.

Niger Coast 1893 (Dec) ½d. on 2½d. surcharge in green (S.G. 11), fine mint. B.P.A. Certificate (1985).

1883 reading upright ½d. on half 1d. lilac-mauve (SG 36) mint, a couple of missing perfs., otherwise of good appearance, scarce, Gebr Leipzig handstamp on reverse.

Egypt 1898-1909 De la Rue 2m. die proof in black on card handstamped “9 JUL.07” and “BEFORE HARDENING”, slightly soiled, with notation on reverse “Rectified Die - left-hand side pyramid lightened”. (A similar die-proof in the Danson sale also had this notation on reverse).

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £2,500 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £2,500 up to and including £300,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £300,000 up to and including £3,000,000;
and 13.9% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £3,000,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
