The top inscribed A. G. Enesco H. B., with a pistol grip cow horn handle caged in silver-gilt interlacing swirls with moonstone cabochons on a Malacca shaft with a metal ferrule.

George Enesco (Romanian, 1881-1955) was one of Romania's most celebrated and successful musicians, composing Romanian Rhapsodies and the opera Œdipe. This cane was purportedly a gift from Princess Helene Bibesco.
