Private collection, Melbourne, acquired from the above in 1999
This painting is accompanied by documentation from Papunya Tula Artists which reads:
'This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole and soakage water site of Marrapinti, west of the Kiwirrkura Community. A number of women camped at this site before continuing their travels to Lake Mackay. The 'U' shapes represent the women and the bars are their digging sticks. The lines at the bottom of the work represent a hair-string skirt as worn during ceremonies.'
