This painting is accompanied by documentation from Papunya Tula Artists which reads:
'This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Wala Wala west of the Kiwirrkura Community. The lines through the work represent the sandhills in the area. The 'U' shapes represent women of the Nampitjinpa and Napangati kinship subsections who have been gathering the edible berries known as kampurarrpa or desert raisin from the small shrub Solanum centrale. The dry berries were crushed and mixed to a paste to form a type of seed cake.'
