The arched panels with a carved scale border mounted with Chinese export embroidered silk panels with gold threads, depicting pheasants and exotic birds above a panelled base, each panel: 60cm wide x 2.5cm deep x 175cm high, (23 1/2in wide x 0 1/2in deep x 68 1/2in high)

Henriette (Annie) de Rothschild was married briefly to Lady Elizabeth's uncle Eliot Constantine Yorke, the fourth son of Admiral Charles Philip Yorke, 4th Earl of Hardwicke. Eliot died five years after their wedding on 11 February 1873.
