The portrait of King George III is based on the version in the Collection of His Majesty the King (RCIN 404678), although the figures in the background are absent.

The portrait of Fredrick V, King of Denmark, also follows a version in the Collection of His Majesty the King (RCIN 406867) but with differences to the troops in the background.

The equestrian portrait of the Duke of Cumberland follows a similar composition also in the Collection of His Majesty the King (RCIN 406869).
