Of typical form with flying scroll handles and raised on a spreading circular foot, the border inset with Eton College rowing medals and the Farquhar family crest and motto, the underside engraved Harold Lister Farquhar/15th April 1915/from his Father & Mother on his 21st Birthday, height 17cm, weight 726gms, together with another, larger, example (A S W Smith & Co, London 1911), engraved with the Farquhar family crest, and with later matched white metal grille, height 19cm, weight 1403gms, weight total 68.4oz. (2)
