Turned Maple Gate-leg Table

possibly Rhode Island, early 18th century
Rectangular top hinged to jointed two-board demilune leaves, rounded ends overhanging apron containing single dovetailed drawer and raised on blocked and asymmetrical baluster-turned stretcher base, open, 142cm wide, 121cm deep, 71cm high (56in wide, 48 1/2in deep, 28 1/4in high).
