Kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink and slight colour on paper in silk mounts: A macaque squatting, looking upwards and scratching itself with its left leg; signed Tetsuzan and sealed Shushin; with an unrelated modern wood storage box

Edo period (1615-1868), early 19th century
Album leaf mounted as a kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink on paper, in modern silk mounts by Paul Maruyama/Wills with ceramic jikusaki (roller ends): A sketch of a reclining ox; signed Chinnen hitsu and sealed; with a modern wood storage box and cardboard slipcase

Kettle Stand and Feather Brush
Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th century
Kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink and colours on paper in silk and momigami mounts: A gotoku (tripod kettle stand) and habōki (feather brush) for chanoyu use, signed Hokkyō Sengen with a single seal; a signed 31-syllable poem to the left; with a modern cardboard box and cardboard slipcase
