Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century
Kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink and slight colours on silk in silk mounts: Pine trees on an overhanging crag; signed Chikusen and sealed; with a modern wood storage box and a cardboard slipcase

Autumn Garden
Edo period (1615-1868), early–mid-19th century
Kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink on paper in silk mounts: A tall stand of susuki (plume grass) with other autumn plants, two wooded hills in the distance; with an inscription signed Seishō shadai, a seal Chikutō Sanjin, and a further collector's seal at lower left; with a wood storage box and a cardboard slipcase
