Kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink and colours on paper in silk mounts by Kami Kentarō (1992): An elegantly attired young geisha, her clothes slightly awry, her face flushed as she struggles to pacify a child carried on her back; signed ? Rannan utsusu with two seals, the first Genran; with a modern wood storage box and a cardboard slipcase
Overall: 183 × 49.5cm (72 × 19 1/2in); image: 103.5 × 37.5cm (40 3/4 × 14 3/4in) (2).

The large scale of this image, the woman's slightly flushed appearance and her overall pose suggest affinities with Mihata Jōryū, who is thought to have been active in Kyoto during the 1830s; compare Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 11.8392 (collections.mfa.org/objects/26888/geisha-putting-up-a-mosquito-net).
