Kingfisher and Lotus Leaves
Kakejiku (hanging scroll), ink and slight colours on silk in silk mounts: A kingfisher perched on the drooping stem of a lotus leaf above a stream with a larger leaf above; signed Kirei and sealed Kirei no in; with an inscribed wooden box affixed with a brief manuscript biography of the artist
Overall: 185 × 48cm (73 × 17 7/8in); image: 99 × 35.5cm (39 × 14in) (2).
