This poster was created for 'An Exhibition of Costume Drawings and Set Designs' at Ashmolean Museum Oxford, May 18 - June 30, 1981. It reproduces Hockney's design for the drop curtain for 'Rake's Progress'. In 1974, the Glyndeburne Opera festival commissioned Hockney with the staging for Stravinsky's opera inspired by Hogarth's series of the same title.
