Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th century
Comprising Daikoku standing on a rice bale holding his mallet aloft and a treasure sack over his shoulder, signed Kiyomasa; Okame throwing beans while a small oni hides behind her; a Shojo (Drunken Sprite) wearing a large sake cup as a hat and holding a ladle; a man struggling to lift a rice bale; Chōryō retrieving Kōsekikō's shoe from a river; a boy seated with a mask of Okame, signed Toshikazu; an oni seated holding a sake cup; a blind man struggling to lift a stone, one eye inlaid in iridescent shell; and a manju netsuke pierce carved with a minogame (bushy-tailed tortoise) and pine trees
2 1/2in (6.4cm) high, the largest (9).
