THREE WOOD FIGURAL NETSUKE

Edo period (1615-1868), 19th century
Comprising a wood figure of Daruma in robes holding a fly whisk, signed Tomofumi; a wood study of a Yamabushi (Warrior Monk) emerging from a hōragai (conch shell horn), with mother-of-pearl embellishments; an ebony or kurogaki (black pine) study of a monkey emerging from a conch shell being chased by a monkey trainer
