Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th/20th century
Comprising a dancing musician, striking a drum as he sings, signed Hōei; a seated elderly mask carver peering through spectacles at an unfinished Hyottoko mask, signed Tōman; a man seated next to a large mokugyō (wooden bell) and grasping a striker in his hands, signed on a mother-of-pearl tablet Issai; and Daikoku and Ebisu, two of the Gods of Good Fortune, on top of a large sea bream, signed Senpō
1 5/8in (4.1cm) high, the largest (4).
