Comprising a wood horse standing in waves as an octopus on its back reaches down to pull another octopus from the surf, the eyes inlaid in brass; a woman seated on a rock cradling an infant; a seated ebony Daruma reaching above his head to stretch, the eyes inlaid in green lacquer; a puppy drinking from a wood bucket; Kakkyo, one of the 24 Paragons of Filial Piety, as he finds a pot of gold; a monkey trainer and monkey; a man leaning on a brazier with a pipe; a rat in a rotting chestnut; and a red-lacquer reclining boy with a fan
