Decorated with a Gigaku mask of Karura (Garuda, a mythological Indian bird deity) painted in polychrome pigments, inscribed Tōdaiji kobutsu Karura taishō men (Garuda mask from the collection of Tōdaiji), signed Tekkan and with the artist's kaō
