Of rounded rectangular plan with applied himotoshi decorated in iro-e takamaki-e with embellishments of hirame and kirikane with two mounted samurai by a marshy bank beneath rolling clouds, all on a fundame ground, signed Shōjōsai saku and with a kaō; fitted with a cylindrical metal ojime decorated with peonies
