PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED ON HALF-TITLE TO KAI COLLIN, "Min Kjære lille Gudsøn Kai Collin / mange glade og velsignede Dage og Aar / H. C. Andersen" ["My dear lille Godson Kai Collin / many happy and blessed days and years / H. C. Andersen"]. Kai Jonas Collin was the first-born son of Edgar and Magdalene Collin, on April 27, 1867. The H.C. Andersen Museum in Odense has two other editions inscribed from Andersen to his godson in 1867 and 1870.
